If you fly into Marrakech and out of Casablanca (or vice versa), we simply adapt the itinerary accordingly. The most common extension is an extra night at Erg Chebbi — giving you two full dawns and sunsets in the Sahara, time for additional activities like quad biking and sandboarding, and a deeper immersion in the desert atmosphere. March to May and September to November are the ideal months — pleasant temperatures throughout, manageable desert heat, and beautiful light for photography. July and August are the hottest months, particularly in the desert where temperatures exceed 40°C during the day. December to February can be cold in the mountains but the landscapes are beautiful and crowds are minimal.
Morocco’s entrance fees are generally very reasonable by international standards. Major sites include: Ait Ben Haddou (approx. 2 EUR), Bahia Palace (approx. 2 EUR), Majorelle Garden (approx. 10 EUR), Fes tannery rooftop (approx. 1 EUR), Bou Inania Madrasa (approx. 3 EUR). The majority of this tour is conducted from a comfortable private vehicle. Walking is involved at each destination — the Fes medina guided tour involves 3–4 hours on foot over uneven cobblestones, the Ait Ben Haddou visit involves some climbing on uneven terrain, and the camel trek is approximately 45–60 minutes each way. All of these can be modified or reduced for travelers with mobility considerations.
