7-Day Itinerary — Day by Day

A private journey through Morocco's four imperial capitals

Upon your arrival at Mohammed V International Airport, you will be met by your professional driver and guide for a seamless private transfer to your hotel in Casablanca. After settling in, the afternoon begins with a visit to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque — a masterpiece of Moroccan craftsmanship and one of the largest religious structures in the world, positioned dramatically over the Atlantic Ocean.

Hassan II Mosque

Marvel at the intricate zellige tilework, hand-carved cedar ceilings, and the world’s tallest minaret rising 210 meters above the sea. An architectural wonder that took 35,000 craftsmen six years to complete.

Casablanca Corniche

As evening approaches, enjoy a leisurely stroll along the Corniche, where the sea breeze complements the city’s vibrant cosmopolitan energy. The perfect introduction to Morocco’s most modern and dynamic city.

Day 1 — Arrival Day
Casablanca

After breakfast, your private journey north leads to Rabat, the elegant political capital of Morocco — a city that balances royal grandeur with a relaxed coastal atmosphere.

Rabat — Hassan Tower & Kasbah of the Udayas

Explore the unfinished 12th-century Hassan Tower minaret and the adjacent Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Continue to the Kasbah of the Udayas — a fortress of blue-and-white painted lanes overlooking the Bou Regreg River, one of the most photogenic corners of Morocco.

Meknes — Bab Mansour

The expedition continues to Meknes, the grand Ismaili capital built by Sultan Moulay Ismail in the 17th century. Stand before the monumental Bab Mansour gate — widely regarded as the finest imperial gate in all of North Africa. Explore the ancient medina before continuing east.

Arrival in Fes

A final scenic drive brings you to Fes — the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco — in time for a traditional dinner and evening stroll near the medina gates.

Night 2: Riad or boutique hotel in Fes medina (breakfast included)
Rabat Kasbah Udayas Blue White

Full driving day with stops

Dedicate an entire day to uncovering the extraordinary secrets of Fes el Bali — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s largest car-free urban space. Your expert local guide will lead you through more than 9,000 alleyways, past ancient madrasas, ornate fountains, and centuries-old artisan workshops.

Chouara Tannery

One of the most iconic images in all of Morocco. View the ancient stone vessels filled with vivid dyes from a rooftop terrace above. Leather dyeing here has remained unchanged since the 11th century — a living medieval craft.

Al Quaraouiyine University

Founded in 859 AD, this is officially recognized as the world’s oldest continuously operating university. The complex includes one of the most beautiful mosques in Morocco, its courtyard visible through ornate doorways.

The Souks & Madrasas

Navigate the labyrinthine covered souks of the medina — copper and brass smiths, spice merchants, carpet weavers, and ceramics artisans. Visit the exquisitely decorated Bou Inania Madrasa with its intricate stucco, carved cedar, and zellige tile work.

Guided walking tour

Departing Fes, the landscape shifts dramatically as you ascend into the Middle Atlas Mountains. The journey from ancient medina to alpine cedar forest to sun-baked plains is one of Morocco’s most rewarding driving days.

Ifrane — The Switzerland of Morocco

Your first stop is the charming mountain town of Ifrane, a place unlike anywhere else in Morocco. Alpine chalets, manicured gardens, clean mountain air, and wild Barbary macaques in the surrounding cedar forest. A perfect stop for photos and a coffee break.

Beni Mellal

The route then winds through the agricultural heartland of Beni Mellal, Morocco’s farming capital, with panoramic views over the fertile Tadla Plains stretching toward the High Atlas Mountains.

Arrival in Marrakech

The day concludes as you arrive in the spirited city of Marrakech, where the setting sun illuminates the city’s iconic red-earth ramparts. Check in to your riad and spend the evening exploring the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa square at your own pace.

Night 4: Riad in Marrakech medina (breakfast included)
Ifrane Alpine Town Morocco
Fes — Ifrane — Marrakech
approx. 6-7 hours with stops

Experience the full sensory brilliance of Marrakech through a comprehensive guided city tour — a city that has captivated travelers, artists, and writers for centuries.

Koutoubia Mosque

Begin at the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, whose 70-meter minaret has served as the architectural blueprint for mosques across the Islamic world and as Marrakech’s navigational landmark for 850 years.

Bahia Palace

Step into the intricate Moorish artistry of the Bahia Palace — a 19th-century masterpiece of carved stucco, hand-painted ceilings, and mosaic courtyard gardens. One of Morocco’s finest examples of Islamic palace architecture.

Spice Markets & Textile Souks

Spend the afternoon weaving through the color-saturated souks of the medina — spice merchants, leather workers, lantern makers, and silver artisans — each quarter dedicated to a different craft since the Middle Ages.

Jemaa el-Fnaa at Dusk

The legendary main square of Marrakech transforms at dusk into a living theater — snake charmers, storytellers, Gnawa musicians, henna artists, and dozens of open-air food stalls filling the evening air with smoke and sound.

Night 5: Riad in Marrakech medina (breakfast included)

Optional: Majorelle Garden

If you have not yet visited, the morning is the perfect time to explore the Majorelle Garden — a stunning 12-acre botanical garden and former home of Yves Saint Laurent, filled with cobalt-blue architecture and rare cacti.

Afternoon Return to Casablanca

In the afternoon, your private vehicle departs Marrakech and crosses the Haouz Plains back toward the Atlantic coast. The journey offers a final opportunity to reflect on the week’s extraordinary discoveries as the landscape transitions from medina to motorway to ocean.

Final Evening in Casablanca
